The Air Jordan 1 High is set for another revamp this 2023 with the "University Blue" or "UNC Toe" color scheme. The AJ1, which was the first shoe in the Air Jordan line, actually came out in 1985. It has played an essential part in redefining the connection between basketball, culture, and style.
This particular model resembles both the 2018 AJ1 Retro High OG "Bred Toe" and the 2019 AJ1 Retro High OG "Obsidian." The newer colorway includes a white leather upper and midsole. These are enhanced by a black sock liner, collar, Wings logo, tongue, laces, eyestays, mudguard, and Swoosh. For a pop of color, the heel, collar flap, Nike Air branding on the tongue, toe box, and outsole are Carolina blue.
